Legal II, Course # 47601 Course credit hours: 4; Provider REALTOR Academy - 8 Legal II is a required continuing education course (CE) course that all license holders are mandated to take to renew their license. This course encompasses a detailed discussion regarding the Canons of Professional Ethics and Conduct, water and mineral rights in Texas, and ad valorem tax best practices and guidelines. It reinforces the ethical and fiduciary duties owed to consumers by license holders with emphasis on the legal limitations to holding a real estate license and the importance of referring consumers to experts in their field. In the event of cancellation, all fees paid will promptly be refunded in full or will be applied to another class at the registrants’ discretion.Refund Policy: For CE courses, a full refund or credit will be made/applied to any registrant who has paid tuition and canceled or reschedules prior to two business days of the course. A refund, less a $10 service fee will be applied to any registrant who cancels or reschedules within two business days of the course. There are no refunds for same day cancelations (day of class) and for partial attendance.
