It meets and exceeds all the statutory requirements, as outlined in the Texas Real Estate License Act (TRELA). In this course, a student will learn about monetary systems, primary and secondary money markets, and sources of mortgage loans. You will also learn about federal government programs, loan applications, processes and procedures, closing costs, alternative financial instruments, equal credit opportunity acts, community reinvestment act, and the state housing agency. Key Points: • This course begins with a look at how the government influences real estate finance through agencies such as the Federal Reserve (the Fed) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). • The course also examines how the forces of supply and demand in the real estate market affect and are affected by the primary lending market. • Learn how lenders qualify loan applicants by considering their income, credit, debt, source of funds, and net worth.
